For the last 2000 years Alba Iulia, an invincible citadel on top of a hill, has been an administrative and military center. Surrounding villages lived in the shadow of the almighty imperial powers of Alba Iulia.	Until 1900 Sebes has been an important commercial and somehow a fashion ceter. In medieval times Sebes had many guilds. Our picture: The bride wears a crown of artificial flowers and a "veil' of 24 colorful ribbons, mostly red-yellow-blue, the color of the Romanian flag.
