  • 16" doll; Porcelain head, arms, legs; Stuffed body; realistic hair; hand painted face.
  • Traditional white cotton shirt, wide embroidery along the hem.
  • Wide belt (brâu) held in place by narrow belt (betele.)
  • Pants (itari or cioareci), one size-fits-all. Wool (ours felt) Extra long, gathered (wrinkled) from knee down.
  • Socks (cotton or wool) ours nylon.
  • Black shoes. In Moldova man also wear "opinci"
  • Distinctive felt hat with wide brim .

  • shirt (or under garment) white cotton, long sleeve
  • blouse (iie), white cotton, colorful embroidery. The sleeve and body or the blouse are connected not by sewing, but by crocheting lace. Lace is attached to both pieces of fabric.Embroidery on top of the sleeve (called altita) and in the front of the blouse.
  • wrap-around apron (fota) almost like a skirt. In Moldova in general fota is worn tight around the bodi, In Iasi region, fota is wide almost like a skirt. Our is made from an actual 1930's old skirt

  • shoes
  • sacrf, either black, or red, or black with res flower. The scarf covers part of the foredead and is tied in the back.
